Let's recap. We are in mid-August - way more half way into the year, so this might be a good time to look at my goals.
Firstly, I have finished university. Although my Masters results don't come out until the end of August, I have got a distinction in my LPC and will most likely get my Masters in 2 weeks' time. Good jobbie.
Secondly, I finally have some sort of a career. In fact, it is the career I was so close to giving up on. Drum roll - I am actually going to be a solicitor! My training contract starts in 2 weeks... in Cambridge. Jonny and I are therefore embarking on yet on another adventure. It seems we can't stay in the same place for more than 2 years at a time. We are tossing flat-sharing in the past and will shortly be moving into a lovely two bedroom flat. How very exciting.
I have still not learnt how to drive and with it being mid-August I don't think I can do it by November. Goal update: pass my theory and have at least one driving lesson by the time I'm 26. Goals are about reflecting, right? I shall recap in a few months!
We are past July and no, I still haven't come out of debt but I have found a way to steadily pay it all off, which is a massive weight off my shoulder. Phew.
Health and fitness-wise, I have just inhaled two giant milk chocolate buttons which Jonny's mum has kindly sent us. Not forgetting about finishing the marshmallows. It is worth mentioning that I have just come back from the gym, having spent about 1.5 hours there. So basically, I just undid all the good. No, I have not finished the Kayla BBG guide, but I have won 2 DietBets and finished Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. I have also just started Ripped in 30 and shall report on the success. The work-outs might be a little bit disrupted due to the impending move, but I will do all that I can. No, I will not cut out alcohol. Many leaving do's are on the cards and I simply cannot say "no" when people are toasting to my success. Why would I not enjoy the flattery? Perhaps I will stick to gin and wine (perhaps not mix the two, as that never ends well).
In terms of blogging, I want to use it as brain dump. I have become quite good at reducing my impulse buying of clothes but still struggle to get a coherent wardrobe and style. I will also have my own space, so will document sorting that one out, too.

Here comes your typical introduction. Hi, I'm Aggie and I am bored of the daunting routine that has taken over my life, so I birthed Lawyer Lives.
No, this is not my first attempt at blogging. In fact, I got my first blog at the age of nine, when I saw myself as a HTML and Photoshop pro, which was by no means true. Then I moved on and my life happened. Law, law, law, law in England, then law in Canada and now law in England again. I like new things. I like fashion. I like food. I like adventures. I love beauty products. So hey, welcome to Lawyer Lives - a blog filled with my little annoyances and happinesses, a blog about all things pretty, unpretty, interesting and uninteresting, a blog about how a lawyer lives.
